Bridge the gaps in social work education through comprehensive mentoring, continuous learning opportunities, and a supportive network that fosters professionals growth, resilience, and a deep commitment to social justice. We aim to empower social workers to excel in their career and make a lasting impact in their communities.
What We Offer
The Social Work Neighborhood Mentorship Program provides the following:
One-on-one mentorship
Monthly group mentorship to discuss a theme or topic with a post-meeting summary and feedback form
Monthly group mentorship for disabled social workers with a post-meeting summary and feedback form
Access to a private discussion community amongst program members
Access to a growing library of free resources, trainings, tools, etc.
Free neighborhood events, guest speakers, etc.
Mentee applications are open during our enrollment periods throughout the year - January, May, and September. Mentor applications are open year round!
The Social Work Neighborhood is free of charge and aims to maintain free access to resources and support for social workers and students across the United States. We function primarily on donations & grants.
